The Older Adults Partnership Board meets every 3 months, sometimes in person and sometimes online. The Board is co-chaired by an Older Adult who is an Ealing resident.
The Older Adults Partnership Board is for Ealing residents who are aged 65 and over. It’s for people who may be using health and care services in the near future, as well as those who currently do. It’s an opportunity to get involved and influence the shape and delivery of services, both now and in the future. It’s an opportunity for older adults to voice their concerns, share their views and hear from council teams, NHS and voluntary sector organisations.
This includes:
Care services  –  home care, nursing homes, social worker support, needs assessments
Health services – falls prevention, hospital discharge, occupational therapy, reablement
Day centres  – Southall Day Centre, Michael Flanders Centre, Cowgate Day Centre
Day activities  – Lunch clubs and social events and activities
We’re looking for members to join our Older Adults Partnership Board who have an interest or passion to improve health and care services for Older Adults in Ealing.
Perhaps you are already part of a group and you would you like to tell us what’s important to your group? This could be a group that meets informally, a social group or special interest group. If it’s for Older Adults, 65+ in Ealing, we’d love to hear from you.
Or perhaps you have a particular interest in health and care services for older adults, but you don’t have experience of large meetings or perhaps you speak English as a second language. Don’t worry, we can offer additional support and assistance so you can join and participate in our meetings.
We’re looking for a really diverse group of people to join, so that we reflect the diverse population of Ealing.
Some of our meetings are in person and some are online, so there are lots of different opportunities to join. Perhaps you’d like to join a meeting and just listen and find out more, there’s no obligation
