InWestEaling are partnering with local businesses, Ealing Council, residents and community groups to clean up West Ealing!

Mop, wash, paint, sweep, dust, brush, pile, sort, recycle, scrub, sand – there is a job for everyone so sign up today and lets make InWestEaling a brighter town centre for everyone to enjoy.

There are a lot of projects to get involved in, but if you’d like to add an area or project to the list, simply let us know. Projects are on a first come first serve basis – simply let us know what your team would like to do and we’ll book you in. 

We are looking for volunteers to sign up and join us over the course of the project. All you have to do is have a look at the projects listed below, pick the ones that you like on the days you like and let us know when and how you would like to be involved. 

Thursday 28 May

Drayton Green Road
Guerilla planting - groundwork preparation, weeding & planting

10:00 - 13:00 (Up to 12 people)

The Avenue
Weeding, Bin washing, telephone box washing, litter pick, jet wash shop fronts

 

14:00 - 16:00 (Up to 12 people)

Melbourne Avenue
Fence painting - sand & paint bin, groundwork preparation, weeding & planting

 

10:00 – 12:00 & 14:00 – 16:00 (Up to 12 people)

Dean Gardens
Sand & repaint of railings

Friday 29 May

10:00 - 12:00 (Up to 12 people)

Melbourne Avenue
Groundwork preparation finished, planting

 

10:00 -  14:00 (Up to 12 people)

Singapore Road
Groundwork preparation, planting and weeding

 

10:00 – 16:00 (Unlimited)

Broadway
Fly post removal, general waste bin clean, telephone box wash & de-litter

Green Man Passage
Weeding wash & clean street furniture

 

14:00 – 16:00 (Up to 10 people)

Maitland Yard & Eccelston Road
Litter pick, weeding, jet wash

 

Saturday 30 May

10:00 - 12:00 (Unlimited)

Dean Gardens
Litter pick, benches clean & wash

 

10:00 – 16:00 (Unlimited)

Broadway
Fly post removal, general waste bin clean, telephone box wash & de-litter, wash and clean street furniture.

There will be a volunteer aid site set up at Welshore Community Hub, 99 The Broadway, W13 9BP. At the start of your volunteer time, come along to the site and pick up your cleaning materials and equipment.
