Putting communities in the driving seat for change
What is this about?
This is a programme where you can decide what your priorities are to create the change you want to see in your town and by working together with your local community you can help make a difference to where you live, work or study.
Feedback from residents has helped to shape Your Voice, Your Town. People from Ealing, Acton, Greenford, Hanwell, Northolt, Perivale and Southall told us about the great things that are already happening in their community, their hopes for the future of their towns, but with a little support they can do so much more.
They also told us they need to believe they can trust the council, and the importance of bringing people together to help their towns thrive.
Your Voice, Your Vote
Every town has its own unique needs and challenges and residents responded to those with their wish list of things they wanted to see improved, such as more community facilities, better housing, safe neighbourhoods, more job opportunities, and a clean and pleasant town.
In the first phase there will be an investment of £480,000 across the 7 towns for projects to take shape in 2025. This is just the beginning and there will be funding for future years.

Your Voice, Your Role
Be part of the Town Team driving change
Are you over-18 and available to join a friendly group of people, that meet up regularly to help guide the activities and decisions on how local resources and budgets can support you town’s chosen priorities?
Each community needs people that can offer something special and can work as a team to make that change. You will partner up with local councillors, voluntary and faith organisations, and council officers, to exchange ideas and develop solutions to address the priorities chosen by your town’s community.
If you have the time and you see yourself as someone who is good at solving problems, have ideas about how to improve your local area, appreciate the views of others and can listen with empathy then your local Town Team needs your support.
